Angelica Vale dreams to share stellar roles with George Clooney

MIAMI (AP).—.- While Angelica Vale dreams of acting with George Clooney and become the first Mexican actress to win an Oscar, her mother, the legendary Angelica Maria,admits doors have close to her and it is increasingly more difficult to get a job.

Angelica Vale seemed her dream is “incredible”, but between laughter and a bit of shame admits she imagine herself living in the same house with Clooney and even walk with him down the red carpet before receiving her Oscar award.

… I guess I arrive “to the house of George Clooney, that I live with him, and he comes with my son Georgito Junior in the van … . we can also be nominated to the Oscars and arrive together. My dream is to arrive at the Oscars, be the first Mexican actress to win an Oscar, “she said.

“It’s incredible, but this would be the biggest thing in my life,” added “The most beautiful ugly girl” 32-year-old, who aspires also to release a music cd to let the world hear her voice.

For her part, Angelica Maria said that she would like to die acting on a stage and acknowledged in a more serious tone than her daughter, with the passing of time she do not have all doors open as years ago.

“It is increasingly difficult because every time I see less doors open. “There are opportunities for young people” , said the veteran actress and singer, who after 20 years of absence from the U.S. theaters returned in September 2007 with Mexican-American production “Sea of Dreams”, directed by her compatriot Jose Bojorquez.

The 63 year old artist, who plans to record a new album in five or six months, said that the most important thing is that she continues to work and that she is as “stubborn” to continue to seek opportunities acting. “I’m going to continue while I can ” , she said seriously in the interview, conducted in the Univision Network dressing room.

 

Mother and daughter worked in the successful soap opera “La Fea Mas Bella”, which remained in first place of harmony during their 14 months of transmission, with a total of 580 chapters.

For the first time since working together, Angelica Maria played a secondary role while Vale was the protagonist.

“I knew that Angelica Vale was going to reach a big success with the telenovela and wanted to be with her,” said the mother, who hopes that her daughter will achieve their dreams for their abilities as an actress. “I have talent, but she has exceeded, “said the proud mother of her daughter, who in 2007 was among the 50 most beautiful people of the People en Espanol.

According to the oldest of the Angelicas, the mother, who worked in more than 17 plays, 17 telenovelas, 57 films, 64 fotonovelas and 600 television programs, Vale not only inherited her talent but also her father’s, the comedian, actor and singer Raul Vale, who died in 2003 because of a lung cancer, which she described as “extraordinary”. “We did this monster together which is really crazy,” added the mother with affection. Both said they are in Miami to thank the public for “La Fea Mas Bella” full support and affection in a series of meetings organized by a brand of soft drinks. “How can we fail to give back the people a little of that love?” Said Vale.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Angelica Vale 30th Anniversary July 12, 2008

 

 

A celebration to recognize 30 years of dedicated work and talent was set by Angelica Vale U.S.A. Fan Club in an exclusive restaurant in Miami, Florida.

 

Angelica was only 2 months old when she appeared on tv for the first time in the soap opera “El Milagro de Vivir”  as the daughter of her real life mom Angelica Maria. But it was at 2 year old  when she stepped on stage by herself to entertain the audience in a play called “Papasito Piernas Largas” or “Daddy Long Legs”  on April 24, 1978. 

It has been 30 years since Angelica’s official acting debut, but, what happened to this 2 year old prodigy child since then?

She became a child star singing, dancing,and acting in films, soaps, and tv shows. She also developed a unique talent to imitate showbusiness personalities.

 

Angelica grow up in theater , playing her favorite musicals as “Vaselina” (Grease), “Los Tenis Rojos”  (Red Sneakers) and “Mama Ama el Rock” (Mom Loves Rock) where she co-star with Latin Idol Ricky Martin.  She also recorded a music cd for almost all of her musicals. 

Later on she began acting in Mexican

telenovelas (soapopera) again as a juvenile actress. Angelica shared leading roles with other juvenile actresses in”Sonadoras” (Dreamers) and “Amigas y Rivales” (Girlfriends and Rivals) .Her character in both telenovelas get importance very soon as she stand out among the others.

She also has a big succes as a comedian in a tv show “La Parodia” where she performed abou 400 different characters being the majority imitating personalities. Angelica is the best entertainer who impersonates perfectly celebrities such as Madonna, Celia Cruz, Shakira, Thalia, Paulina Rubio , Alejandra Guzman and a lot more , national and international celebrities.

Then her biggest success (at this moment) arrived as “Lety” , her leading role in “La Fea Mas Bella” (Uggly Betty’s Mexican version)  . The soap became so popular it broke audience records in Latin America and U.S.A.

Angelica was named one of the most beautiful people by People Magazine. She has been working as a host in tv shows and events. She’s getting ready for a tour, series of shows in the U.S. and Latin America .  Angelica Vale is one of the most admired and aclaimed Latinamerican artists .She’s multi-talented, one of a kind. She has it all.
