Los Angeles, Ca. – Angelica Vale and Bienestar launch a latin campaign against homophobia.   

Campaign : Actress Angelica Vale brought her international celebrity status to Los Angeles to launch off a latino campaign against homophobia. Known to Latin America as an actress ,singer, comediene , producer and daughter of the famous mexican-american actress Angelica Maria and prolific venezuelan songwriter Raul Vale , Angelica Vale is one of Latin America’s most beloved leading ladies. Ms. Vale recently finished her starting role in Mexico’s “Ugly Betty” ( La Fea Mas Bella ) which inspired the U.S. version by the same name where Ms. Vale had a special guest role in 2007.                   

Pride Parade: On June 8th 2008, Ms. Vale participated in Los Angeles Pride Parade as she promoted an end to homophobia in the latin community. Ms. Vale’s stardom brouht L.A. fans to tears and without a doubt her name was the most shouted throughout the parade. Angelica was later crown as the Queen of  the latino LGBT Community at the latin stage durig the Pride Festival. She was crowned by West Hollywood Major Jeffrey Prang , woman of the year, Rita Gonzales, and Councel member Juan Noguez on behalf of Bienestar and the entire Latino LGBT Community.

 

Media: Bienestar Latino Campaign gainst homophobia and Ms. Vale’s support has captured international media attention. A press conference was hel on friday June 6th, where Ms. Vale’s support was officially announced. The campaign was covered by Univision, TVAzteca, Telemundo, Televisa, MegaTV, La Jornada’s Letra S and several more.

 

                 

The Promise : Angelica Vale and Bienestar seek to engage over 10.000 latinos in a unified promise against homophobia , the support has already poured in from across the U.S. , Mexico, Chile and Peru.
